Minimalist design for maximum content

Revolut provides a Swiss Army knife of finance apps with everything from banking and money transfers to crypto and currency exchange. This makes self-serve support tricky, to say the least. How do you make it accessible to all of these users without overwhelming any of them? Revolut finds the answers in minimalism.

The design language makes it clear the help center is a Revolut property, but beyond that, there are no bells and whistles. The design focuses strongly on putting the information front and center, and with how much information there is to convey, it cleverly strips down any extraneous visuals that could create noise and overwhelm visitors.

Search is meant as the main entry point to knowledge, and it’s extremely fast, with suggested articles popping up immediately as you start typing. The homepage also helps users navigate and filter the large volume of content sorted into two dozen categories by employing tabs for personal and business customers.

The content follows a similar philosophy of minimalistic design for the maximum amount of information. Categories are divided into topics that serve as hubs, branching into individual articles addressing specific questions or issues. This helps ensure that no individual piece of content becomes an enormous wall of text. Everything remains digestible, and the instructions are written and formatted for optimal clarity.
