The opportunity 

Join Stonly (http://stonly.com) and work with the best QA team. We take care of the quality of our product in every part of the development process. As a QA engineer, you will be creating and executing tests to identify issues before the features launch. Duties include analyzing and documenting bugs as well as suggesting and implementing solutions to improve manual or automated tests. If you hold an engineering background, have good communication skills, and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and evolve QA process ensuring a high level of quality and velocity while developing new Stonly features
  • Prepare test plans and run manual tests for any new and/or critical features before release
  • Reproduce and identify the origin of reported issues to help in their resolution
  • Help prioritize issues to add them to team backlogs
  • Provide feedback on the product experience and possible improvements
  • Help with other tasks depending on the company’s priorities 

Skills and Experience

  • You are fluent in English
  • You have 2+ years of relevant experience in testing
  • You have good knowledge about manual testing, creation of test plans, reporting issues
  • You know the basics of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • You know the basics of automation testing (it will be an asset)
  • You are detail-oriented and have a curious mind
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You enjoy working with people and consider yourself a team player
