Stonly in WhatsApp

You can provide AI Answers to your customers directly through WhatsApp.

When someone messages your organization on WhatsApp, they will receive a reply generated by an AI agent of your choice. Following this message, the customer can decide to continue the conversation with AI or switch to a human agent.

AI Answers in Whatsapp: prerequisites

To enable AI Answers inside WhatsApp, you need:

  • An active WhatsApp Business number

  • Access to Meta Business Manager and Meta Developer Console

  • Permission to manage WhatsApp webhooks for your business.

  • An AI agent configured in Stonly.

Webhook connection details

AI Answers will connect to your WhatsApp account via a webhook. To set it up, contact our team and request:

  • Webhook URL

  • Verify token

We will also need you to provide us with the name of your Stonly team and the agent ID of the AI agent you want to use with WhatsApp.

To find the agent ID:

  1. Log into Stonly and open the AI & Automation tab.

  2. Go to the AI agents view.

  3. Select the agent you want to use with WhatsApp.

  4. From the URL, copy the string of numbers at the end of the URL. That's the agent ID. For example, in https://app.stonly.com/app/general/21154/aiAutomation/aiAgents/2137 the ID is 2137.
