Stonly's default content format are step-by-step interactive guides that support branching and adapting to the reader.
Articles are a standard format well known from other platforms. They're static and single-page and you can use them for simple pieces of content that don't require branching or interactive features.
Same as guides, articles can be displayed standalone, placed inside a knowledge base, or launched from triggers.
Creating articles
To create an article:
Sign into Stonly and open the Guides tab.
Click Add new in the top right and select Article.
Articles can be managed from the Guides view, the same as other types of content.
Guide editor in articles
Articles use a simplified version of the guide editor. The following elements are absent:
Step title
Inputs
Media block (only inline images and videos are supported in articles)
Next steps block
Structure pane and flowchart view
Data transmission
The only types of data transmission supported for articles are Custom text (on step open) and Step title (using article's title).
Article settings
The Display section of the settings drawer is not available for articles.
