In the form-data format, you can add individual payload parameters as key - value pairs to the request, without having to use raw JSON data.

To add a parameter:

Under Body, select Form-data (+attachments).
Click Add parameter and select parameter type.
Provide the key and value of the parameter. To use variables in the Value field, click the {…} icon.

File attachments

The form-data format allows you to include attachments in the request. To be available for a server call, an attachment needs to be saved into a local variable using input fields.

To attach a file to the request:

Create an attachment input field in a step and save it as a local variable.
In server call setup, add a new parameter and select Attachment as the type.
Provide a key you want to identify the parameter with.
In the Value field, provide the name of the local variable storing the file.
