Special steps

Special steps are interactive elements you can place inside a guide.

Available special step types:

  • External chat app. Triggers a chat integration with your support tool.

  • AI Answers. Open a conversational interface where the visitor can ask questions that will be answered by AI.

  • Survey. Creates a customizable survey or a standard NPS survey.

  • Contact form. Creates a customizable form for sending emails.

  • iframe. Displays a web page or app inside the guide.

  • Checklist. Creates an interactive list of items for the visitor.

  • Widget actions. Opens a different piece of content in the Stonly widget or closes the widget.

  • Automation. Automatically routes a visitor to another step based on user data.
