Choice label vs Choice value

Choice label is tied to the guide's language. If you have different labels on buttons for each language version of the guide, your Target will receive them as separate entries.

Choice value is a way to send a language-independent entry.

To create a choice value:

  1. In the guide editor, hover over the Next step to which you will assign the value.

  2. Click Edit value.

  3. Name the value and click Save.

This value will now be sent every time the users make this choice, regardless of the guide language.

Target

Target defines where we send the data.

This is a pre-set key that you will have to copy from guides for relevant integrations.
