To keep within your budget, and in order to keep within your preference for natural fibres we recommend the following:

Flats - these are super thirsty, super versatile nappies that can be teamed with a waterproof cover. You can learn more about flats on this page where you will find a video guide

Prefolds - again, a thirsty option, that can simply be folded into a pad and teamed with a waterproof cover

It should be noted that these would not be ideal for all childcare providers that is not trained in cloth nappies as there is folding involved and separate pieces. Having some one-piece nappies on hand to send to childcare would be a good idea, the Alva Baby is a good budget option and natural fibre inserts can be purchased for these.
