For pipeline from Loocy toilet to HomeBiogas system

PVC DWV pipes and fittings (1-1/2"), in suitable lengths and angles to connect the Loocy toilet to the HomeBiogas system.

Fittings:

A. 1-1/2" PVC solvent ball valve and a matching T joint.
The valve will be located on the T joint outside the toilet booth and as close as possible to the toilet seat for drainage and maintenance purposes.
This valve must be located at the lowest point of the pipeline.

B. Four pieces of 1-1/2" PVC 90-degree elbow fittings to create an upper air trap.
The air trap should be assembled 10cm/4" higher than the pipeline to capture air and gases.
Ensure the highest part of the air trap is at least 40cm/ 1.30ft long.

C. 1-1/2" solvent PVC union.
Must be installed every 5m/ 16.4ft along the pipeline and after the air trap.
The quantity required will vary depending on the length of the pipeline.

D. 1-1/2" DWV PVC Wye Fitting.
This fitting is used to connect the wastewater pipes of both toilet seats.
It should be assembled only after the air traps of each wastewater pipe and just before connecting to the HomeBiogas system itself.

1-1/2" PVC DWV schedule 40 pipes and fittings to connect the effluent outlet to your chosen effluent solution.
The length of these pipes will depend on the location of the effluent solution.

Must be applied between all piping parts to avoid leakages.

If constructing a drain field

• Large gravel (1-2” diameter), 240 liters.

• fine gravel (0.25-0.75” diameter), 50 liter

If constructing a mulch basin
• Landscaping mulch
• Large wood chips
• Fine wood chips/sawdust

Other tools required
• Power drill
• 0.20in (5mm), Hex key
• A flat screwdriver
• A Phillips head screwdriver
• A shovel for drain field/mulch basin construction
