General Cleaning before First Use and After Every Distillation

It is ideal to always clean the inside of the unit with clean warm water + Mangrove Jack's Cold Water Cleaner Detergent (if available to you) or other mild household detergent before and after use.  

Without Detergent - before First Use and Every Distillation

If you don't have detergent, always clean the inside of the unit with clean warm water before and after use. 

Without Detergent - before First Use and Every 5 Distillations  

If you don't have detergent, simply run a water distillation through the Air Still.
