Our process is to perform a video camera and external chimney inspection. You cannot inspect a chimney with a flashlight. We use specialty chimney cameras that swivel and rotate with bright lights. We are trying to locate any chimney liner cracks or defects that cause heat or hazardous gases to enter the walls, attic, or rooms in your home.

We are also looking for:
-Cracks and Missing Mortar on the chimney or really anywhere we see
-Any broken or damaged parts
-animal activity
-really anything that appears to be an issue

A full inspection report is conducted with all components and issues documented with pictures and recommendations to get the system up to the current fire safety standards outlined by the National Fireplace Protection Association.

Every inspection report of ours is overseen by a current CSIA Chimney Safety Institute of America Certifed Chimney Sweep before presented to you.

It is $250 to inspect and document each chimney and fireplace annually.

We will NOT clean the chimney unless it's up to code.
We really do care that you have a perfect functioning fireplace and chimney!
It's only $75 more to clean the chimney if the report passes OR to complete a proper inspection.

If the caller says it is too expensive don't say okay, say:

I understand. Are you looking for price or value. You see we offer value, we have been through and maintain with our managers the Chimney Institute of America Certification. With that, we don't inspect a chimney with just a flashlight. We know the current codes and standards your fireplace and chimney needs to be up to. Anyone charging less than us is only offering a visual inspection that cannot see your most hazardous parts of the chimney and they give you a false sense of safety with only a chimney sweep. We make sure all the components are fire worthy to maintain a good performing system. Our cameras inspection constantly find hazards other untrained chimney companies missed. We want you there to see live what we are seeing and invite you to be part of the inspection. It's pretty cool! So I ask you to reconsider, cheaper isn't safer. What day would you like?
