The company was created 4 years ago by Alexis (former co-founder and CPO of Dashlane), David (ex VP sales and marketing at Calendly) & Krzysztof (ex Dashlane)

As a Backend Engineer at Stonly, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems that power our product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend engineers, to deliver new features that enhance knowledge sharing, user guidance, and customer support automation. Your work will directly impact the daily operations of companies relying on Stonly to improve their knowledge management and user experience.
What you’ll do
Design and implement new features as a part of a small, agile cross-functional team.
Participate in planning our short and mid-term project roadmaps.
Create web services that will be used both internally and by partners.
Participate in scaling our server architecture.
Work on integrations with content management platforms.
Work with QA to make sure that everything you build has the level of quality required
Work with a team that keeps quality high when it comes to product choices.

Skills and Experience
Must have:
Strong coding skills in Node.js including Express-like frameworks
Solid experience with TypeScript
Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably MySql
Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and SNS
Experience in designing scalable, performant software and optimizing existing code
Good knowledge of queuing systems like Kafka and SQS
Extensive experience with various levels of testing e.g. unit, integration, end-to-end
Familiarity with Docker for container management
Knowledge and experience in Agile environments
Excellent communication skills to understand customer needs and collaborate with other teams
Nice to have:
Familiarity with NoSQL standard databases like DynamoDb, Redis, and ClickHouse
Proficiency in designing and maintaining public REST APIs
Skilled in creating OpenAPi documentation
Hands-on expertise in Nest.js
Exposure to test automation using Playwright
Experience with other cloud providers like Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean
Knowledge of Event Driven Development
