What to use to clean with - The Grainfather High Performance Cleaner is a CIP (Clean In Place) cleaner specifically formulated to work with hard and soft metals and is specifically designed to remove burnt on proteins and comes highly recommended by us. 

If you cannot get hold of this, alternatives are:

• PBW Cleaner (easily accessible from homebrewing stores)
• Mangrove Jack's Cold Water Cleaner Detergent
• Any other non chlorine, unscented cleaner will do - don't use cleaners high in acid and common household bleach.
