Default contact form

Includes fields for the topic, message, sender's email address, and an attachment. The default form cannot be customized.

The message will be sent as an email. You can provide the receiving address in the left pane. If you leave it empty, the message will be sent to your team's contact email (Team Management > Settings).

Custom contact form

You can select a specific Stonly guide that will open in a widget.

The guide doesn't have to be a part of the knowledge base.

External app

You can select a chat app that will open in the widget. The list of supported chat integrations is available here.

For the integration to work, you first need to install it your knowledge base. To do that:

In the sidebar, switch to the General settings view.
Open the Custom code menu.
Paste the installation script for the chat integration of your choice (it should be provided in the relevant tool's documentation).
Click Save.

If you want to make your knowledge base available in a widget on your website, the website also needs to have the chat integration installed.
