Opportunity
At Stonly, we envision UX and aesthetic design as a central part of our future and as we strive to create beautiful software experiences, we are looking for a visionary UX/UI designer for making sure our product is easy, intuitive, and pleasant to use.
You will be responsible for supporting the design of appropriate UI solutions that address product requirements from a user, business, and technology perspective. Collaboration and compromise are needed to ensure the end solution meets all requirements. You will help deliver detailed UI design specifications.
Responsibility
By joining the Stonly team you will:
- Design intuitive, user-centric, user-friendly interface designs for web and mobile applications.
- Create design concepts, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and prototypes.
- Take criticism of your design and explain the why behind your designs.
- Contribute to our design system with beautiful, efficient, holistic design patterns with the right attention to detail.
- Participate in creating and maintaining our design system.
- Take ownership of your work.
- Know who and when to collaborate with in your team.
Skills and Experience
What you bring to the table:
- Experience designing compelling and quality UIs and visual designs.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in a relevant position with a focus on UI design, visual design or similar, as well as a strong portfolio of related projects.
- Understanding of User Centric Design processes
- Hands-on experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong UX focus when designing UI
- The ability to understand the technical implications of your design decisions along with experience working directly with developers on their implementation.
- Experience with design systems in creation, maintenance and application.
- Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly
- Willingness to learn, flexibility, and ability to perform under time pressure
- Experience with working in a Scrum/Agile framework
