The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be helping businesses scale their self-serve
functions successfully through empathy driven through interactive guides. Your focus will be to contact
new sales prospects, identified through inbound and outbound efforts, and qualify them for the next steps
in the sales process. The BDR position is an entry level position ideal for someone with exceptional drive
who is looking for a career in sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Contact (call and/or email) a high volume of leads per day.
  • Discuss the new sales prospects’ needs and qualify them for the next step in the sales process by scheduling phone appointments for our Account Executives to demonstrate the product.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Management to align on individual and team goals. 
  • Maintain a clean CRM environment surrounding activities, communicate timely and accurately with Sales Team.
  • Demonstrate and maintain awareness of the importance of creating a strong image of self, produce and company.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism internally and externally.

What You Have

  • The ability to understand software solutions and engage in proficient conversation.
  • Comfort in working in a high velocity sales process, including inbound leads, outreach, outbound prospecting, initial calls, follow up calls and meeting setting. 
  • Outstanding communication skills - writing, listening, presenting, and building rapport with ease.
  • Curiosity about the entire business and a great team spirit that helps keep the sales team closely connected to all the amazing people and teams at Stonly.

What Your Success Looks Like

  • Delivering a high volume of scheduled appointments of which are qualified leads converting into pipeline and revenue.
  • Liaison between sales and marketing by working closely on feedback to align lead quality to goals.
  • Consistent contribution to the sales team by achieving sales goals.
