Welcome to Bhutan Payments! This section will guide you through the complete onboarding process — from creating your account to getting activated for live payments.

To begin, visit and click Open Account, or go directly to the signup page at

Step 1: Create Your Account

On the signup page, complete the registration form:

Click Sign Up. A verification email will be sent to the email address you provided.

Step 2: Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for an email from Bhutan Payments with the subject line to verify your email.
Open the email and click the Verify Email Address button.
You will be redirected to the Business Creation page to complete your onboarding.

Step 3: Set Up Your Business (Part 1 of 2 — Business Details)

After verifying your email, you are directed to the Business Creation page. This is a two-part onboarding wizard. The first part collects your business information.

Click Next to proceed to Part 2.

Step 4: Add Your Bank Account (Part 2 of 2 — Bank Account)

The second part collects your bank account details where you will receive payouts.

Click Submit to complete your onboarding.

Step 5: Wait for Activation

After submitting your business and bank details:

Your Organization status is set to REQUESTED
Your Bank Account status is set to PENDING
The bank admin at your selected bank receives an email notification to review and verify your submission

While waiting for activation, you will be redirected to your dashboard. However, you cannot create pay links, process payments, or access most platform features until your organization is activated by the banking partner. This review typically takes 1–2 business days.

Step 6: Sign In

Once your account is activated, you can sign in anytime:

Navigate to the login page at
Enter your Email and Password.
Click Sign In.

You will be directed to your dashboard where you can start creating pay links, accepting payments, and managing your business.
