62lb of thrust will be able to move you along pretty well! Although, this motor will come with a 36" shaft, which is longer than you need. This isn't a huge deal, but you have to be mindful when in shallow water. Another option is an Electric Outboard. These can come in shorter shaft, higher power, but will be more expensive.
